Virtual IEAI Speaker Series: AI Ecosystem of Trusted Excellence with Aisha Naseer

With its Speaker Series, the TUM Institute for Ethics in Artificial Intelligence invites experts from all over the world to talk about ethics and governance of AI. These events serve as an important platform for sharing new research and exchanging knowledge.
This session of the TUM IEAI Speaker Series will take place on October 20th virtually via Zoom at 11:00 am CET. The topic of the session will be “AI Ecosystem of Trusted Excellence”.
We are pleased to announce that the speaker for this session is Dr Aisha Naseer.
Dr Aisha Naseer is the Director of Research at Huawei R&D UK, where she provides strategic direction on AI research and innovation as an integral part of the company’s work around the development of AI standards, trusted, responsible, and ethical AI. Also, she’s leading several corporate discussions on strategic partnerships with planning and direction for an ecosystem of trusted excellence. Previously, she led Fujitsu Research of Europe’s AI ethics research program. Dr Naseer is an innovative scientist, GDPR-certified professional, with several patents and proven record of research publications. Moreover, she is member of the founding Editorial Board of the Springer Journal of AI and Ethics and sits on the MIT Sloan Management Review Responsible AI Expert Panel (MIT SMR-BCG). She received a global recognition of being selected into the top “100 Brilliant Women in AI Ethics List 2022”.
