The A Human Preference Aware Optimization System (HPAO) Project was initiated by Prof. Tim Büthe (Chair of International Relations) and Prof. Johannes Fottner (Chair of Materials Handling Material Flow Logistics). The interdisciplinary team is led by Dr. Charlotte Unruh and Charlotte Haid (M.Sc.) and is developing an alternative approach to the use of AI that utilizes preference data to develop an algorithmic scheduling system based on the preferences of workers.
In the workshop “Digitalization and the Future of Work”, preliminary results of the project will be presented. In addition, challenges and opportunities of using AI in the workplace will be presented and discussed in two keynotes and a subsequent panel discussion. Please note that the workshop will be held in German.
Please register for the workshop by email (charlotte.unruh@tum.de). You will receive an email prior to the workshop with further information on the schedule, directions, etc.
Thank you for your interest. We look forward to your participation!
