Demystify AI at the Future Forum 2019
Two weeks ago Christoph Lütge and Caitlin Corrigan attended the Future Forum in NYC.
Organised by the German Center for Research and Innovation (DWIH) New York, the Future Forum was a all-day event filled with eye-opening presentations, highly-topical discussions and other unique formats on the subject of AI in our society. It also served as fantastic networking opportunity with German and American regulators, tech representatives and scientific and social leaders.
Professor Lütge joined the Demystify AI Shark Tank panel, discussing pressing issues alongside other international experts on AI in society.
In the final session of the forum, Prof. Lütge introduced the Transatlantic Trustworthy AI Council, a program meant to bring together organizations and scholars working on issues related to responsible AI to collaborate on, exchange and accelerate current research. The IEAI will be coordinating this effort, with meetings beginning in 2020.
Here are some impressions of the Future Forum.
