Speakers
Research Associate at Emerging Networks and Technologies Lab
Christian Adumatta Gyampomah is currently a researcher at the Emerging Networks and Technologies Lab – KNUST in Kumasi, Ghana, where research is conducted around Artificial Intelligence, IoT, Big Data, Network Security, Business Intelligence and more.
His research interest in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning stems from first-hand experience on the need for smarter systems in his work experience so far. Aside numerous projects embarked on during undergraduate years (including an IoT device that remotely controls domestic electrical appliances from an app), Christian helped set up, and managed a large campus-based Gigabit Passive Optical network where he got into the habit of automating various tasks like device configurations and user service allocation.
At the ENT Lab, he has developed an AI-based mobile platform to optimize and reduce post-harvest losses across rural agricultural value chains.
He has a passion for anything futuristic.
Christian is graduating with a First Class in Telecommunications Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
